INFANT 1: Ms. Katy, Ms. Jenika & Ms. Kami
We had a great week last week in Infant 1. We would like to welcome our new friends Sterling Austin and Mallie Kate. Our theme for the week is Valentine’s Day. Our book for the week is I Love You As Much….. Our activities this week will include making a valentine for our parents and footprint hearts. Have a great week!
INFANT 2: Ms. Kay, Ms. Kasey & Mrs. Chloe
This week in our class we will be working on our Valentine Art and reading books on Valentine’s Day. Our book of the week is The Day it Rained Hearts by Felicia Bond. Parents we will be exchanging Valentine’s Day. Please bring them to school by February 10th so all of our children will receive some. Also please make sure your child has 2 to 3 changes of clothes in their cubby.
INFANT 3: Mrs. Allison and Mrs. Janell
We had a great week! We want to wish Ms. Tracy good luck and we will miss her very much. We also want to say goodbye to Parker, Michael, Carter, Addison, Sarah Grace, Susie, Hudson, and Izzy who are all moving up. We will miss you and love you all. Come back to visit us! Welcome to Infant 3 to Logan, Nolan, Ruby, Elly, Paityn, Phillip, and Sreyan. We are going to have so much fun. We will be making cute Valentine’s Day artwork. Parents please remember to check your child’s cubby for extra clothes. Have a great week!
INFANT 4: Ms. Ashley, Ms. Megan & Ms. Michelle
We had a fun week learning about Fables and Fairytales. This week’s theme is Valentine’s and Friendship. For circle time this week we will read: The Day it Rained Hearts, Froggy’s First Kiss, The Biggest Valentine Ever, The Valentine Express, and The Best Thing about Valentines. For art, we will have fun making valentines for our friends and working on our alphabet book. We will enjoy riding the carts, playing in centers, and going outside. Infant 4 would like to welcome Abby, Sarah Grace, Izzy, Susie, Addison, Carter, and Hudson. We are so excited to have you in our class. We hope our friends Torrey, Dawson, Landen, Ava, Jamyse, Gavin, Liam, and Phoebe have a great time in Toddler 1. We will miss you! We look forward to a great week!
TODDLER 1: Mrs. Kelly & Ms. Lindsey
Love is in the air! Toddler 1 has been hit with cupids love arrow. We love our brand new bunch of babies! We had an awesome first few days! This week is all about Valentine’s Day and the letter Q. We will be making tissue paper, hearts, valentine’s cards, a friendship wreath, marbleized hearts, and an art with the letter Q! We hope you all have a great week!
TODDLER 2: Ms. Tonya & Ms. Brooke
This has been a very fun filled week! We’ve sadly said goodbye to our friends and have moved them to their new room with Ms. Haley in Toddler 3. We know that they are going to be well taken of and continue to grow and learn in their new environment. We have also welcomed in a new group of eager beavers! We look forward to growing and learning with you! In addition, we learned what fairytales are and although fairytales are not real, it sure is fun using your imagination. This week is all about hearts, hugs, and kisses! Its Valentines and Friendship week! What’s more fun than finding creative ways to show your loved ones how much you love and care for them? Be sure to check out our bulletin boards and artwork!
TODDLER 3: Ms. Hailey & Ms. Sarah
We had a great first week together! We loved reading the different fairy tales. We explored the home of the three bears and talked about opposites. We searched high and low for our run away gingerbread man and sorted objects. We even played with “mud” as we escaped from the Big Bad Wolf with the three pigs. We learned about the letter P this week and had fun saying words that start with P. We are now having some fun learning about Friendship/Valentine’s Day and the letter Q. We are making many fun crafts such as magnets and collages. Be looking out for our Valentine snack signup sheet.
K3A: Mrs. Stephanie & Mrs. Virginia
We had such great week learning about fairytales! This week is Friendship and Valentine’s week. Please bring a shoebox by Wednesday for us to decorate for Valentine’s Day! We are going to have a great week in K3A.
K3B: Ms. Hayes, Mrs. Anna & Ms. Allison
We had a great week last week with our Fairytales and Fables theme. It was fun learning more about our star student Jacob. We also got to celebrate another friend turning three! This week our theme is Valentines and Friendship. We will be making heart buddies and a special valentine! We will also be learning about the letter Q. Our star student, Kieran, will share some of his favorite things with us this week. It is going to be another great week in K3B!
K3C: Ms. Rosie & Mrs. Genny
We had a blast last week learning all about Fairy Tales. Now, love is in the air as we make plans to study Valentine’s Day this week. We will do lots of creative art activities to express our love to each other. For example, we will make happy hearts, handprint hearts, heart wreaths, and lots more. Also, we will have a Valentine party on February 14th. We will post a signup sheet for the party soon. The children will exchange Valentines cards at the party. The letter of the week is Q. Don’t forget show and tell for the letter Q will be Friday February 10th. Have a great Week!
K4A: Ms. Morgan & Ms. Missy
K4A had an amazing week learning all about Fairytales and Fables. We graphed our favorite fairytales and Beauty and the Beast received the most votes. Everyone loved being able to dress up as their favorite fairytale characters and making our special Hansel and Gretel shack. Alex Dana was an awesome star student and we all loved learning more about him. This week we will be focusing on letter Qq. We will discuss several words that start with Q and we will be working on writing the letter Q. Our fine motor skill that we will be focusing on is using and holding scissors correctly. Our star student his week is Jackson Price! We can’t wait to learn all about him! We are excited about a great week in K4A!
K4B: Mrs. Catherine & Ms. Rachel
Learning about Fairytales last week was so much fun. Our fairytale ball on Friday was a blast! This week, we are learning about Friendship and preparing for Valentine’s Day. On Monday, we will draw a name for our “Secret Friend.” We will make that person surprises all week and give them their gifts on Friday! We will also be working on top secret presents for Mom’s and Dad’s! But shhhh, we’re not telling what they are! There will be NO show and tell this week. Instead, we will share our gifts with our friends.
PKA: Ms. Sara and Mrs. Claire
Love is in the air in PKA! Valentine’s Day is nearing, and this week we will be celebrating our friendships! Our letter this week is Vv and our number is 6. The star student is Walker Shook.
PKB: Mrs. Grisel & Mrs. Karen
This week we are going to start our Valentine’s unit. We will practice drawing hearts. We are going to work on Valentine words all week. We will make Valentine’s for our parents on Wednesday. We will also be decorating our Valentine’s box for our party. We will be singing Valentine’s songs all week too! Our letter of the week is V. We will make a list of V words and work on V’s in our journals. Our star student is Jack Stubbs. We look forward to a great week!

Last week we had such an exciting time studying Fairytales. Friday’s royal ball was a hit and everyone had a blast! This week we are studying a special holiday: Valentine’s Day! We will talk and learn about friendship and how to treat others. We will decorate our Valentine boxes, make bookmarks, read Valentine’s Day books, and more. We are studying letter V this week. Parents: please let your child sign his or her own Valentines. It is great practice for them! Bring an item that starts with letter V for show and tell on Friday. If you have a chance, please review our sight words from the past two weeks: down, yellow, and you. PreKC is going to have a lovely week!
