INFANT 1: Ms. Kay & Mrs. Janell
We have been busy working on our fall art work. The babies had fun getting their feet stamped and it looks so cute! Our book of the week is “Mother Goose Rhymes”! We would like to welcome our new baby Liam Booker to our room, we are so glad you are here! Parents, please remember to take home all medications on Friday.
INFANT 2: Mrs. Katy & Ms. Tina
We had a great week last week. We are having so much fun in Infant 2. We made handprint leaves and we are working on new decorations for our door. This week our theme is Mother Goose. We will be learning lots of nursery rhymes. Our book for the week will be “Old McDonald had a Farm”. We will be doing lots of Mother Goose art. Have a great week.
INFANT 3: Mrs. Allison & Ms. Genia
We had a great week in Infant 3. Welcome, our new friend, Jackson Martin. We just love him. Also, welcome Reece Wallace. We are so excited to have our new friends. Parents, be on the lookout for Infant 3’s amazing artwork. Also, please remember to label all bottles and food.
INFANT 4: Ms. Ashley, Ms. Tracy, & Ms. Jane
We had great time learning about colors and shapes. This week’s theme is Mother Goose. Ms. Ashley has planned fun art for us to do. For circle time we will read nursery rhymes and some of our favorite books. We will also practice our flash cards and have fun playing in the tunnel. We will also blow bubbles and have fun playing with the parachute. We look forward to a great week.
TODDLER 1: Mrs. Kelly & Mrs. Angela
Welcome back! We hope everyone enjoyed their holiday. We are glad to be back and get back to the swing of things. This week our theme is nursery rhymes and the letter C. For art this week we will be doing finger print caterpillars, handprint spiders, decorating mittens, painting a star, making humpty dumpty and the dish who ran away with the spoon. We have so much fun doing our art projects and our walls are quickly filling up with all of our beautiful masterpieces. We hope everyone has a great week.
TODDLER 2: Ms. Jordan & Ms. Ashley
We had a wonderful week learning about colors. We made a lot of beautiful art work. This week we will be learning about Mother Goose. We are going to read some classic nursery rhymes and make Mother Goose art. We anticipate a great week.
TODDLER 3: Ms. Jenika & Mrs. Brittany
We had so much fun last week learning about our colors and shapes. The children really enjoyed making their very own Brown Bear, Brown Bear book. This week is all about Mother Goose and nursery rhymes. They will have fun making sheep’s, stars, and tasting cotton candy. We would like to wish Colin a Happy 2nd Birthday! You are growing up so too fast Colin.
K3A: Ms. Kasey & Ms. Tonya
Last week we learned all about colors and shapes. We made very hungry caterpillars that are our shapes, making a shape-bot and doing art for the letter “Cc”. This week we are learning about Mother Goose and nursery rhymes. Some of our art will include dish ran away with the spoon, itsy bitsy spiders, and Mary’s lambs. We would also like to wish Brooke a Happy Birthday on the 5th. Have a great week.
K3B: Ms. Hayes, Ms. Kari & Mrs. Stephanie
We had a great week in K3B. Shape and color week was so much fun. We did lots of fun artwork and activities to help us learn our colors and shapes. Next week is Mother Goose and nursery rhymes. WE are so excited about all of the fun stories we will be reading. K3B will also have fun dress up day at the end of the week. We want to wish our teachers Ms. Kari and Mrs. Stephanie both Happy Birthday! Looking forward to an awesome week!
K3C: Ms. Rosie & Mrs. Genny
We sure are having a fabulous week exploring colors and shapes in our world! Now, K3C is making plans to study Nursery Rhymes. We will focus on Twinkle little star, The Old lady in the Shoe, Humpty Dumpty, Jack be Nimble, and Little Miss Muffett. The children will make Shinny Stars; broken Humpty Dumpty, shoe collages and lots more. Also, the letter of the week “C”. We will learn vocabulary words such as crown, cake, camel, car, cow, and clown. Show and tell for the letter C will be Friday Sept 10th. Don’t forget odyssey will be closed Monday Sept 6th. Have a happy and safe Labor Day weekend.
K4A: Ms. Joan
This week our theme is going to the world of Mother Goose. There are so many stories that we will explore with lots of creative artwork. Our letter for this week is “D.” Be looking for unique objects that begin with “D” for show-n-tell on Friday. We will be starting our weekly Star Student this week. This week our “STAR” is Reagan! We are looking forward to seeing her poster of fun pictures! Hope all of you have a great week!
K4B: Mrs. Catherine & Mrs. Jodie
We have moved through the week with Mrs. Jodie colors and the letter “C”. We have mixed colors in every way imaginable. We made fabulous sundaes with cool-whip, cherries, coconut, and caramel. It’s going to be hard to top that. This week we will talk about Nursery Rhymes and the letter “Dd”. We will jump over the candle stick, and have bucket races. We will taste donuts and see which one is our favorite. Please remember Mrs. Jodie and I are always happy to talk with you about your child, but it can be difficult to carry on meaningful conversation as we try and supervise children. We feel that good communication is the most valuable tool we have and are happy to talk with you at length. Please let us know when a good conference time would be. Thanks for all you do.

Hey diddle diddle- the cat and the fiddle. Our theme this week is Nursery Rhymes and the Letter “G”. We will be talking about rhyming words as we learn all about Mother Goose. We are also working on our small motor skills, and our scissor and writing skills are improving. Show and Tell is Friday and we ask our friends to bring something that begins with the Letter G. We will miss Isabella Balmer as she moves to Florida.
PKB: Mrs. Grisel & Ms. Virginia
This week we are entering an imaginary world through fables and Mother Goose stories! We will be doing a lot of creative artwork that will help us learn the morals to the stories we will be reading. We would love for your child to bring a story with an amazing moral to share with their classmates. Also, this week we will be talking about the letter “Gg”. Our friend Garret Heinemann will be the star student.
