March 8th - 12th                         

INFANT 1: Ms. Kay, Mrs. Janell & Ms. Tina
We have had a great and busy week.  We have finished our St. Patrick’s artwork and are getting ready to start on spring and Easter. We want to welcome our new friends Taidem Huett & Andrew Mayhew to our room.  We are glad you are here. Parents please remember to label all pieces of your child’s bottle.  Thanks Infant 1 Teachers.

INFANT 2: Mrs. Katy, Ms. Megan & Ms. Claire
We had a great week last week.  Way to go Will who has started sitting up.  We are so proud of you.  This week our theme is Eric Carle. We will be reading lots of his book including The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Little Cloud.  We will be making fingerprint caterpillars.  We will also start decorating our room for spring.  Have a great week.

INFANT 3: Mrs. Allison, Ms. Jenika & Ms. Genia
The children will be learning about the author Eric Carle this week.  They will make bears and caterpillars.  The books for the week will be Brown Bear, Brown Bear and The Very Hungry Caterpillar.  Happy 1st Birthday goes out to Addison Key!  We look forward to an exciting week.

INFANT 4:  Ms. Ashley, Ms. Tracy, & Ms. Amy
We had a fun Dr. Seuss week. This week our theme is Eric Carle.  For circle time we will read Brown Bear, Panda Bear What Do You See?, From Head To Toe, Today Is Monday and No More Diapers For Ducky.  For art, we will work on our alphabet books and do our Eric Carle art.  We are looking forward to a great week.

TODDLER 1:  Mrs. Kelly, Mrs. Angela & Mrs. Jessica
We had lots of fun last week celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday.  We made a foot book, painted cat in the hat hats and lots more!  This week we will be learning about Eric Carle.  We have lots of Eric Carle books to read. For art, we will be making thumbprint and paper plate caterpillars, handprint butterflies, thumbprint fireflies, handprint spiders and paper plate ladybugs.  We will also paint a moon and cloudy and make grazy colored animals! We hope you all have a great week!

TODDLER 2:  Ms. Kasey
What a great week to study and celebrate Dr. Seuss.  We love all his stories, especially, Yertle The Turtle, Green Eggs and Ham and Horton Hears A Who.  For art we made green eggs and ham…..yummy!  Plus making blue fish and red fish with our hands.  This week we will focus on another children’s author – Eric Carle.  He has written some great ones like Polar Bear, Polar Bear and The Very Hungry Caterpillar.  We plan on making our very own hungry caterpillar and making polar bear tracks.  Watch out!!!!

TODDLER 3:  Ms. Jordan & Mrs. Brittany
We had an awesome week reading Dr. Seuss books and doing Dr. Seuss art projects!  We even made green eggs and ham.  This week we will be learning about Eric Carle.  We read The Very Hungry Caterpillar, From Head To Toe, and many other wonderful books.  It is going to be a great week!

TODDLER 4:  Ms. Amy & Ms. Tonya
Last week was a great week in Toddler 4.  We welcomed our new friends Nicholas, Isabella and Teagan!  We also had so much fun learning all about Dr. Seuss.  In art, we made a Dr. Seuss hat, Thing 1 and Thing 2, and a Grinch mask!  Last week we also made umbrellas and learned all about the letter U.  This week we will be learning and reading all the Eric Carle books!  In art, we will be making The Very Hungry Caterpillar  and a rooster!  This week we will be learning all about the letter V.  We will be making a vase full of flowers.  We are looking to a great week full of learning and fun!

K3A:  Mrs. Martha & Mrs. Annette
We had a fabulous week in the wacky world of Dr. Seuss.  We read his books and created our own variations of his artwork!  This week we will explore another favorite author, Eric Carle.  We will read as many of his books as we can find, so if you have any at home please bring them to share.  This will be a great week!

K3B: Ms. Hayes,  Ms. Kari & Mrs. Stephanie
We had a good week in K3B being silly with Dr. Seuss.  This week we will be learning about Eric Carle.  We will be reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar, brown Bear, Brown Bear, Polar Bear Polar Bear and The Very Quiet Cricket.  It should be a fun week with art, stories and music.  K3B wishes Ms. Missy the best!  Good luck in your new career!

K3C:  Mrs. Jenny, Ms. Joan & Ms. Virginia
We had so much fun last week reading Dr. Seuss books and dressing for mix-match day.  This week we will be reading books by Eric Carle.  We have lots of creative activities planned.  It should be a fun filled week for the children.  We are nearing the end of the alphabet…out letter for the week is X.  Our star student this week is Ethan.  We are looking forward to seeing his family poster!  We hope that you have a great week!

K4A: Mrs. Rosie & Mrs. Devin
We sure are having a fabulous week reading and discussing stories written by Dr. Seuss.  This week we will study the famous author Eric Carle.  We will focus on books such as The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Grouchy Ladybug, Brown Bear, Brown Bear and many more.  We will sort bears by size, paint butterflies, count ladybugs, etc.  The letter of the week is V.  We will study vocabulary words such as vacation, van, velvet, vine and voice. Don’t forget show and tell for the letter V will be Thursday, March 11.  Have a great week!

K4B:  Mrs. Catherine & Mrs. Jodie
Hello K4B friends and family!  Last week we enjoyed listening about the silly wacky world of Dr. Seuss.  This week we are listening to stories by Eric Carle and talking about the different textures and colors he used to illustrate his books.  Parents be on the lookout for K4B’s colorful artwork.  Our letter of the week is Vv.  For show-n-tell, please bring an item that begins with the letter A – V, or a book by Eric Carle. Have a fantastic week!

PKA:  Mrs. Jennie C. & Ms. Mary
We will be celebrating books by Eric Carle.  There is so much to read!  We will copy his style of art and write our own book!  We are still working on rhyming words and will also start read addition!  Show and tell is on Eric Carle books.  Thanks.

PKB: Mrs. Grisel & Mrs. Brandy
Hello PKB friends and family!  Our theme this week is books by Eric Carle.  We will be making a beautiful butterfly, a PKB Bakers Book and Eric Carle themed art.  We will also be beginning our word family study this week with ___at words.  Parents, there will be a spelling test every Thursday on words from our word family of the week.  We will send out a list of the words on Monday of each week that your child can practice spelling and reading.  Thank you for your help with this.  Show and tell this Friday on anything Eric Carle related.  Have a great week.

Our theme this week is Eric Carle and The Very Hungry Caterpillar. We are making tow print caterpillars and hand and foot butterflies! Our baby’s very so hard on their art work, and we hope you all enjoy it! Keep up the good work guys!
Our baby of the week is Braxton Nicholas.
He is three months old and he is such a flirt with the ladies! J  He flashes those eyes and hearts break! Not to mention his very sweet smile, make us all love Braxton!
We hope everyone has a very blessed week!

Eric Carle is one of our favorite authors. We love “Brown Bear, Brown Bear what do you see” and “a very hungry caterpillar” to name a few.
We are enjoying our babies so much! Every week one of them learns something new whether it’s a new sound or maybe learning to sit-up, sit alone or crawl! They are learning so fast and we are extremely proud of each one of them. Stop by and see us if you need something to make you smile! J Our little ones will definitely do that for you!

This week’s theme will be Eric Carle. Eric Carle is the author of some of our favorite books. “Brown, Bear Brown Bear What do you see?” and the “The Hungry, Hungry Caterpillar” are just a few of our favorites. We have lots of fun art projects to do this week!
Our Star Student this week is Emme Dodd. Emme is a fun, loving, silly and beautiful little girl! She loves walking around the classroom and she enjoys playing peek-a-boo!
We love having her in our class!

This week in Infant 4 we will be talking about Eric Carle and all his wonderful books! A favorite in our class is “Little Cloud” so we will be sure to read that one!

We love Eric Carle! One of our favorite books is The Very Hungry Caterpillar! We will be reading this and several other books by Eric Carle this week. We will also be doing a few art projects inspired by Eric Carle books.

This week is all about Eric Carle. Each day we will read a book by the author and do a fun & creative art project to go along with it. Some of the art projects will include: making a class caterpillar, making a book of colors and making clouds with cotton balls. What a great week for fun reading and creative art! If you have a favorite Eric Carle book at home you may bring it to school to share with the class.
We’re looking forward to another exciting week!

This week in T3 we are talking about Eric Carle. We are going to do tons of art projects, read all of his fabulous books and sing all kinds of silly songs! It’s going to be so much fun.
Parents remember if you have any books or movies to share with the class feel free to do so at any time. Big Thanks to the “Crowders” (Ann Rogers) for bringing in books and movies to share last week. The kids really enjoyed them.

It’s Eric Carle week in T4. Eric Carle is one of our favorite authors and we love his books! We have several of his books so we will be reading them and doing our art from his books. Examples, “The Very Hungry Caterpillar,” we will be making caterpillars on green leaves. Sounds cute doesn’t it?  This should be a very interesting week!
We would like to say Good-bye to Olivia Guenster and Mia Weldon. They moved up to K3. We will miss them very much.

K4B is excited about retelling Eric Carle books. We have planned lots and lots of fun-filled activities. Everyday the children are excited about recognizing their alphabets and sounding them out. We have only four more alphabets before our alphabet book is finished. Our letter of the week is “W.” We are moving up counting and recognizing our numbers. Also mom and dad we are working very hard on our manners and using our inside voices. Our teachers have seen some major improvement thus far and we’re very excited! (Yeah!)
Our Star student this week is Juliana “Grace” Stevenson.

Pre-KB
This week we will be traveling into the world of Eric Carle. We will be reading his books all week as well as making some cool art such as lady bugs and a HUGE class caterpillar!
We will also be learning about the letter “W” and the sound it makes! We will introduce time this week as we read The Grouchy Ladybug.
